It’s fairly obvious that most 9 to 5 jobs are boring and don’t pay very well, but most people who hold those jobs can’t think of a practical alternative. After all, this is the way we have been taught to think about work from the time we are very small. Go to school and get a job.

The normal way to break out of one job into a more fulfilling, better paying position is to take a lot of courses at a university or vocational college. Most courses like this require years of study, thousands of evenings of hard work, and many weekends spent sitting in classes or in front of a computer. These kinds of courses often cost quite a bit. Most people simply do not have the time or energy to devote to learning a new career.

Many of those who do successfully complete a course of training are not much better off when they are finished. Either they can’t find a position in the new field they studied for, or the new position they do find involves more responsibility for a relatively small increase i pay.

Internet marketing – becoming an “internet entrepreneur” – is a completely different alternative. Just think, you don’t need a diploma or degree to get into online marketing. There is no 9 to 5 grind. You don’t have to drive into the office every day. There is no boss.
